Norte (North) is a beautiful Dalmatian, a young, loving and good dog. He was born a lucky purebreed dog, he lived in a home where he was loved. His life was going well until he had problems with his eyes fell. First it seemed to be simple conjunctivitis, but then complications set in; and inadequate treatment caused him to go irreversibly blindness. The Norte’s luck had run out. His eyes became deformed, completely changing his sweet face.
Nobody was willing to give him the special dedication that he needed, so now, he is in our shelter.
Obviously a cage isn’t the best place for him; Norte misses an owner who can love him, guide him and teach him to find his way; he really needs the warmth and security of a home, and he needs to stop feelling lost and abandoned...
In Asoka we have realized that being blind isn’t a problem for dogs. They can live normally and they quickly get used to a new environment and thanks to their sharp sense of hearing and smell they can manage without problems.
Norte is a faithful dog and the person who decides to give him an opportunity will be rewarded with lots of love and gratittude from this lovely pet.
